Reverse print to help the user save printer ink.
Re-drew the map. Tried to incorporate colours that we are using for the website.
We originally wanted to use this gif as the main image (for captivation) but it appeared too much like a "splash page". This is more of us showing the viewer how well we can put a logo on our page. So to avoid this, we are going to select an image and place information on it (date, free entry, small blurb). -Visual and informative. As for the captivating idea, we are going to extract some elements from the gif to put on our background. - Decided to have pulsing lights across our page instead of it moving upwards. Since the viewer will be scrolling down the page, we don't want an animation that moves the opposite direction.
Seeing what colours work well with our page
The background is too distracting/over the top. We figured to put the pulsing lights only on the sides to help guide the reader down the page. We also want to change the background to a solid dark navy colour to keep it simple for the user.
We decided to change our main image to this. We felt that this image has a better relation to our website as we are using pulsing lights on our website. We felt that the similar shapes work better with each other.
