Light Animation and Web Layout Trials

Moving Image on site

tried making an animation where lights float up. Sort of inspired by the bokeh lights because we wanted to try use them displayed somewhere on the site (maybe homepage).

Incorporating in website view. 

Not sure about what colour we want for the website but I think the lights contrast best against the purple background.

-Development of original animation.

-added outline of lux logo

-Some animated ball images to add some movement to the pages. Lux captures the beauty of the movement of light, so just wanted to incorporate a little touch of that to the website.

Map Web Page

-Drew a vector map

-The idea of the map is to be interactive so people can click on the dots on the map and it will tell them what light works there are.

-The dot will highlight and enlarge green when clicked on

- another variation we could add white boxes around text to aid readability maybe?

-added map onto a site layout (layout still in test mode)

-The layout of buttons so far

-might change the button colours

-changed buttons to white but might be a bit much having too many white boxes.

-We tried out a different background to add depth to the web pages however found that it kind of distracted people from the content.

-We then decided maybe to reduce it down to a chosen coloured background with some light balls to have the feeling of lux but not take from the background.

-Tried out the idea of the interactive map where when you click specific parts on the map then the name of the artist and work will appear. ( goes from a purple dot to a large green dot to show that it has been selected).
