About Us Page Progress

So from the wireframe to the actual web template is hard to manage. I have been developing the About Us page and trying to play around with the layout. I have never used a site like this so I'm still getting used to it but it is better than having to code the whole thing.

Before this background I was using a plain black background with dots. They were quite boring so I used this image instead. It conveys a sense of energy and connectedness through the dots which is what we are truing to convey. The thing we have to take into account is user friendliness and readability of content. The background is just a starting off point because tomorrow we will probably have a variety so we can decide what will work best.  We put a video instead of the map because then the map would be everywhere and the video adds a nice touch to our term of 'memorable'. 

These are just developing ideas for the 'About Us' page. I think for headers and important pats we will need to close a colour scheme and preferred typeface.  I have made the sponsor logos to actually lim to the actual page of the sponsor which I thought was a cool idea. I mean without these sponsors and supporters this whole thing wouldn't be possible so they do deserve enough credit. The footer also needs to be developed. We are leaving that more for the social media aspect for the users because not all the users will be into social stuff.
